Professional basketball player Kysre Gondrezick, the fourth-overall pick in the 2021 WNBA draft, has been named Playboy’s Miss June 2025.
The magazine announced its selection on Monday, noting that Gondrezick, who was recently linked to NBA star Jaylen Brown, is the first active professional basketball player to be featured as a Playmate.
In an accompanying statement, Gondrezick framed the collaboration as a strategic brand expansion. “What people label as a transition, I embody as evolution,” she said. “I’m not stepping outside who I am. I’m building a multidimensional brand.”
She also commented on the dedication required for her athletic career, stating, “Becoming a WNBA player and getting to that level, you put in a lot of work to get there. You have to put in even more work to stay there.”
The Playboy feature does not mark a departure from basketball for Gondrezick, who recently joined the AU Pro Basketball league. The move signals her intent to pursue both athletic and modeling opportunities concurrently.
Playboy has also recently announced other models for its 2025 roster, including Noemie Neuens, Mahina Florence, Emma Vanderhoof, Gayeanne Hazlewood, and Jordyn Johnson.
