Podcaster Myron Gaines and comedian Akaash Singh have reignited their long-standing feud in a series of viral posts on X, drawing widespread attention from followers and critics. The renewed conflict has escalated to include personal attacks targeting Singh’s wife, Jasleen.
Gaines initiated the latest exchange with a pinned post viewed over a million times, writing, “Hey @AkaashSingh STFU forever—Part 2… Your wife swore she was a VIRGIN? Married simps like you & @andrewschulz keep proving us right.” In a separate post featuring a video meme, he told Singh to “shut the fuck up and NEVER talk shit again. Focus on your RAN THROUGH thot wife!”
The animosity traces back to a 2022 appearance by Gaines and his “Fresh and Fit Podcast” co-host, Walter Weekes, on Singh and Andrew Schulz’s show, “Flagrant 2.” During the episode, Singh described the duo’s content as “corny” and “childish,” arguing they were “setting bad examples.” The exchange led to significant backlash against the “Fresh and Fit” hosts, with many viewers suggesting they failed to convincingly defend their views.
Gaines has since argued that he is a victim of online backlash, claiming social media users resurface old podcast clips without proper context to paint him as prejudiced. He specifically referenced past controversy over footage in which he and Weekes stated they do not date Black women, comments that continue to fuel criticism against them.
The recent feud intensified after YouTuber Mediocre Tutorials and Reviews released a video analyzing Jasleen Singh’s “Main Character” podcast. The video highlighted her discussions on topics including group sex, college experiences, and her views on relationships, which Gaines used to escalate his attacks against her husband. Gaines first commented “Time to cook” on the YouTube video before posting compilations of Jasleen’s podcast clips to his own social media.
Akaash Singh responded by sharing a clip from the 2022 podcast encounter, stating Gaines was “triggered by jokes.” Jasleen Singh addressed the controversy directly in a TikTok video, criticizing the “red pill podcast guys” dissecting her marriage. She defended her humor, noting that her husband frequently jokes about her in his stand-up routines without issue. Comparing her critics to “brainwashed individuals,” she concluded by urging them to “find God, take therapy,” and stop listening to “little cockroaches and parasites,” an apparent jab at Gaines.
