DISH Network customers across the Northeast experienced a service outage Sunday morning, affecting access to multiple channels, including Vermont-based WCAX.
DISH has confirmed the widespread issue and assigned its senior engineering team to resolve the problem. As of early Sunday afternoon, however, the company had not provided an estimated time for when service would be restored.
Viewers impacted by the outage can still access local programming like WCAX over the air with a digital antenna. Alternatively, the channel is available on streaming services with a broadband internet connection, such as YouTube TV and FuboTV, both of which offer free trials.
Customers seeking more information can contact DISH customer service directly at (866) 406-4901 or (800) 333-3474.
