Ahead of their first divisional matchup against the Green Bay Packers, a new fan poll reveals declining confidence in the Minnesota Vikings.
Following a second consecutive loss, an SB Nation Reacts survey shows that fan belief in the team’s direction has fallen to 32%. This marks a seven-point drop from the 39% approval recorded last week. A potential upset victory at Lambeau Field could be crucial for restoring fan optimism.
The survey also highlighted a significant divide regarding the team’s quarterback situation. When asked whether J.J. McCarthy should be benched for Max Brosmer, 40% of respondents supported making a change.
However, a prevailing counterargument suggests that replacing McCarthy is premature. The perspective holds that the rookie needs consistent playing time to work through his issues and continue his development, as a switch to another inexperienced quarterback offers no guaranteed solution and could leave the team without a clear path forward at the position.
