Alaska Airlines has expanded its popular Companion Fare benefit to include flights on Hawaiian Airlines, a highly anticipated update for its credit card holders.
Effective immediately, holders of the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® and Alaska Airlines Visa® Business cards can now use their annual Companion Fare to book travel on Hawaiian Airlines routes within North America, including to and from the state of Hawaiʻi.
The Companion Fare allows eligible cardholders to purchase a second ticket for a travel partner on the same itinerary from $122, which includes a $99 base fare plus taxes and fees starting from $23. This long-standing perk is a key feature of the airline’s co-branded credit cards. The expansion marks a significant step in integrating the two carriers’ networks and customer benefits.
