Brody Jenner, the son of Linda Thompson and Caitlyn Jenner, is a familiar face in reality television, having starred in shows like The Princes of Malibu, The Hills, and its revival, The Hills: New Beginnings. He has also made cameo appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Jenner appears to maintain a positive relationship with his former stepfather, musician David Foster. In July 2024, after Jenner posted a video of his daughter, Honey, whom he shares with fiancée Tia Blanco, Foster commented on the clip, “She is sooo darn cute!!!”
However, the blended family’s dynamic has been a subject of public discussion. David’s daughters, Sara and Erin Foster, have previously shared their perspective on watching their father raise Brody and his brother, Brandon.
“Our dad was raising other children. He wasn’t raising us,” Sara stated on a 2019 episode of the Sibling Revelry podcast. “He was raising Brandon and Brody.”
David has also addressed his past, acknowledging how his relationship with his own daughters has evolved. “I missed a lot because I didn’t raise them,” he told People in 2020, citing geographical distance and his work schedule. “That was my own doing and a regret that I have, but it was what it was… I did the best I could, which was quite imperfect at times.”
Erin added that frank conversations have since led the family to a better place. “Our narrative is that we’re all on the same side and we’ve all been mad at each other,” she noted to the outlet. “We’ve all forgiven each other. And we’re a family just like any other family.”
