YouTube TV is attempting to lure back former customers with targeted discounts on its NFL Sunday Ticket package. According to user reports, the company has begun sending promotional emails to those who previously canceled their subscriptions.
One user on Reddit reported receiving an offer for $96 off the service, which would lower the price for a YouTube TV subscriber to $282 for the season. Other commenters noted they had received a similar email, but with a smaller discount of $48. The user who received the larger discount mentioned they had canceled their service after the conclusion of March Madness.
For the upcoming season, the standard NFL Sunday Ticket package costs $378 for existing YouTube TV subscribers. A standalone version is available for $480, with prices increasing if users add NFL RedZone or opt for a monthly payment plan.
This promotional campaign comes as YouTube TV officially confirmed that its pricing for the new season will not increase from last year. The company has not made any public statements regarding these targeted discounts, so the full scope of the offers remains unclear.
