The Detroit Tigers will begin the second half of the season on the road, looking to end a four-game losing streak.
Despite stumbling into the All-Star break, the Tigers have had a dominant season, holding the best record in baseball and a commanding 11.5-game lead in their division. The recent skid includes a series-finale loss to the Tampa Bay Rays followed by a three-game sweep at the hands of the Seattle Mariners.
Following a brief rest, the team will travel to Arlington, Texas, for a three-game series against the Texas Rangers at the indoor Globe Life Field.
The series opener is scheduled for Friday, with the first pitch at 8:05 p.m. ET.
