Yahoo! JAPAN Discontinues Services in UK and European Economic Area
Effective April 6, 2022, Yahoo! JAPAN has ceased offering most of its services to users in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area (EEA).
The company cited the difficulty of providing a continuous service environment in these regions as the reason for its withdrawal. While most services are now inaccessible, some functions of Yahoo! JAPAN Mail will continue to operate, albeit with certain restrictions.
All Yahoo! JAPAN services remain fully available to users accessing them from within Japan. The company has apologized for any inconvenience caused by this decision.
