ACM New Female Artist of the Year Ella Langley has announced she is stepping away from touring for the remainder of August to focus on her mental and physical health. The decision affects several scheduled performances, including opening slots for Riley Green and Morgan Wallen.
In a statement to fans, Langley described the past several weeks as “tough,” citing ongoing sickness and feeling more “run down than ever.” She explained the break was a difficult but necessary choice to prioritize her well-being. “I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself,” she wrote. “Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down.”
Langley also shared a verse from Matthew 11:28 and expressed gratitude for her fans’ understanding. She confirmed she plans to return to the road in September, promising to be “ready to give you my all.”
This is not the first time the rising star has been candid about her health. In May, during the same week she won five ACM Awards, Langley revealed she was experiencing one of the “toughest mental health weeks” she’d had in a long time. She spoke about feeling “imposter syndrome” and turning to fellow artists Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert for support.
Langley has consistently used her platform to advocate for mental health awareness, an issue she has described as “the disease of my family.” She has stated that bringing more attention to mental health and addiction is one of her long-term goals.
Despite these challenges, 2025 has been a breakout year for Langley, marked by her historic ACM wins and her first solo No. 1 single, “Weren’t For The Wind.”
