In the Broncos’ 28-19 preseason victory over the Saints on Saturday, rookie running back Harvey earned the start, rushing for four yards on three carries and securing his only target for a one-yard gain. He took the game’s first carry and played alongside the first-team offense for Denver’s initial three possessions. Over three preseason games, the second-round pick accumulated 47 rushing yards on 13 attempts and caught three passes for seven yards. Looking ahead to the regular season, Harvey is projected to form a backfield tandem with veteran J.K. Dobbins.
