COLUMBIA — Mizzou Athletics has moved the kickoff time for Saturday’s football game against Louisiana to noon, citing a forecast for extreme heat. The game at Faurot Field was originally scheduled for 3 p.m.
Temperatures are expected to reach as high as 95 degrees Fahrenheit on Saturday. The game, which coincides with the University of Missouri’s family weekend, is sold out. It will be streamed on ESPN+ and SEC Network+ platforms.
Fans attending the game are also reminded of new stadium entry procedures. Due to the closure of the north concourse and Gate 1 for ongoing construction, ticket holders must now enter the stadium on the side where their seats are located.
The specific gate requirements are:
- East Side (Sections 101-110, 301-315, and student section): Must enter through Gates 2E-6E.
- West Side (Sections 116-125): Must enter through Gates 2W-6W.
- South End Zone (Sections 126-132): May enter through any gate.
- Premium Areas (Walsworth Family Columns Club, West Tower, Multipli Club): Entry remains unchanged at Gate 7.
According to Mizzou Athletics, construction on the north end zone will pause before the gates open and will be confined to the project area during the game.
