Veteran actress Diane Ladd has passed away at her home in Ojai, California. Her daughter announced the news in a statement, confirming she was by her mother’s side when she died this morning.
In a heartfelt tribute, she remembered Ladd as her “amazing hero and my profound gift of a mother.”
“She was the greatest daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist and empathetic spirit that only dreams could have seemingly created,” the statement continued. “We were blessed to have her. She is flying with her angels now.”
