Shares of Rumble Inc. (NASDAQ:RUM) surged for a third consecutive day on Friday, closing up 14.31% at $25.96 following the announcement of a strategic partnership with artificial intelligence firm Perplexity.
The collaboration aims to enhance search and content discoverability for Rumble users by integrating Perplexity’s advanced AI tools. In a statement, Rumble confirmed the partnership will also introduce a new subscription bundle combining premium services from both companies and will include the promotion of Perplexity’s Comet browser on the Rumble platform. The integration of Perplexity’s search technology will be rolled out progressively, with the subscription bundle and browser promotion launching alongside the new capabilities.
Perplexity’s Comet is an AI-powered browser that functions as a personal assistant, providing users with contextual assistance and intelligent search functions to foster deeper engagement with online content.
“We are thrilled to partner with Perplexity as we dive deeper into the AI space across our customer base,” said Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski. He added that the combined technologies are expected to “drive substantial improvements to the discoverability across its platform.”
