Manager Alonso has hailed Dani Carvajal’s leadership, describing the captain’s “competitive spirit” and influence as a vital asset for Real Madrid following his return to full fitness.
“He was still recovering while we were in the United States, but now he’s fit enough to play, you can see what a positive impact he has on everyone around him,” Alonso stated.
The manager emphasized the importance of such figures in the squad. “We need to have those kinds of leaders in the dressing room; they’re crucial,” he added. “Carva is an example of that. There are lots of others, and we need that strong core to guide the rest.”
