For the first time since 2008, ESPN’s “College GameDay” is heading to Nashville for Week 9, broadcasting live from FirstBank Stadium for a top-15 matchup between No. 12 Vanderbilt and No. 14 Missouri.
The Commodores are coming off one of their most significant victories in recent years, a 31-24 home win against LSU. The team is led by quarterback Diego Pavia, who has emerged as a Heisman Trophy contender with 19 total touchdowns this season. Pavia’s performance will be a central focus of the pregame show as he looks to add another marquee win to his resume.
The last time Vanderbilt hosted “College GameDay” was for a 14-13 victory over Auburn in 2008. The show also filmed a special NFL draft edition in Nashville in 2019.
Nashville-based comedian and Vanderbilt superfan Nate Bargatze was announced as the celebrity guest picker. This will be Bargatze’s second appearance on the show; he posted a 7-4 record with his picks during the broadcast for the Alabama-LSU game on November 4, 2023.
“College GameDay” airs live on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT on ESPN. The show can also be streamed on the ESPN app or Fubo.
