DAKOTA, Minn. – A crash involving a commercial vehicle and a van has closed a portion of northbound U.S. Highway 61.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the collision occurred at 8:20 a.m. Both drivers were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The closure affects the northbound lanes for one mile north of Dakota, between I-90 and Falcon Road. A detour is in place to guide motorists around the area.
Authorities expect the highway to reopen by noon.
