The Chicago Cubs have reached an agreement with right-handed pitcher Spencer Turnbull, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post. Turnbull, who was released by the Toronto Blue Jays late last month, will provide needed depth for a Cubs rotation that has been impacted by several injuries this season. It is not yet clear whether the deal for the Boras Corporation client is a major or minor league contract.
