Contrary to recent online speculation, the Vault Edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will not grant players early access to the game. An Activision representative has officially debunked these claims, stating, “those rumors are completely bogus – the game is not launching early in any fashion.”
The speculation, which circulated widely on social media, suggested that pre-ordering the premium edition would move its release forward by 72 hours, from Friday, November 14, to Tuesday, November 11. The rumors were further fueled by a cryptic social media post from Call of Duty League commentator and analyst Miles Ross.
While early access for special editions is a common pre-order incentive in the gaming industry, it would have been a departure for the Call of Duty franchise, which has historically limited such offers to its multiplayer beta periods.
Although it does not include an early launch, the Black Ops 7 Vault Edition offers a variety of other in-game bonuses, such as operator skins, the Blackcell battle pass, and five mastercrafted weapons. However, all players must wait for the official worldwide release date to play the full game.
