Esquire, Vogue, and Page Six Lead Latest Media Moves


Grant Pearce has been appointed editor-in-chief of Esquire Australia. Elsewhere in publishing, Vogue España has named Sara Hernando as fashion director, Ana Morales as beauty director, and Nuala Phillips as fashion features director. At The Washington Post, Jamie Stockwell is the new deputy managing editor of the News Hub, and Megan Harvey has joined The Financial Times as assistant managing editor. In commerce, the New York Post has appointed Camryn La Sala as senior commerce editor, while Bellamy Richardson joins Esquire and Hannah Southwick joins Page Six as associate commerce editors. Additionally, Jacqueline Tempera is now a shopping writer at Dotdash Meredith.

On the brand and agency side, Chanel has named Ayesha Bhagat its senior group director of fashion marketing, and Longchamp has appointed Ryan Neller as senior marketing manager. In agency news, SHADOW has hired Penelope Pavlounis as an account coordinator in its beauty division, Michele Marie PR has brought on Marina DuVernet as a junior account executive, and Sister London has appointed Emily Kenton as an account executive. In a notable departure, Andrea Attkiss is no longer with Carolina Herrera.

Several public relations agencies have announced new client acquisitions. Purple PR is now representing Rebecca Vallance, StockX, NN. 07, OLIVE YOUNG, and Liberty LTBY. Fragrances. Autumn Communications has added Guess to its roster, while Krupp Group is representing Banter. Other new partnerships include: MP-IMC for Savoir Beauty; Tractenberg & Co. for ENHANSE; The Set for Zak Maoui; LION VIP Relations for OneSkin; CGC US for Touchland and LOoPHA; OC Consulting for Delos, Caravana, and ODEUM; Ritual Projects for Alan Crocetti; Behrman Cesa Communications for The Absorption Company; Modeworld for JKEEFER; and No. 29 for Misha & Puff.

In other industry news, E! News has been canceled as a television program, with its last episode to air on September 25; it will continue as a digital brand. Vogue has also discontinued its Vogue Club membership program. Meanwhile, two new ventures have launched: Justin Moran has debuted Who’s That?, a weekly newsletter showcasing emerging creative talent, and Billy Porter has introduced his beauty brand, Black Mona Lisa Beauty.
