After being discontinued for more than a decade following a major fraud scandal, the McDonald’s Monopoly promotion has officially returned for 2025.
The popular game runs from October 6 to November 2, giving customers a chance to win prizes ranging from free food to cars, vacations, and cash. To participate, players can collect physical game pieces from select menu items or obtain digital versions through the McDonald’s app. All prizes must be redeemed by November 23.
While billions of game pieces are in circulation, the odds of winning a grand prize are exceptionally low. This is because the company releases only a handful of the rare game pieces required to complete high-value property sets. Based on past promotions, the most difficult pieces to find are typically “Boardwalk,” “Park Place,” and “Pennsylvania Avenue.”
