A new teaser has been released for Freakier Friday, the anticipated sequel to the Disney classic Freaky Friday, reuniting stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
In the film, Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. The story is set years after their original body-swapping experience, with Anna now a mother to her own daughter and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As the family navigates the challenges of merging two households, they discover that lightning might be about to strike twice.
Directed by Nisha Ganatra and based on the book Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers, the sequel features a supporting cast that includes returning actors Mark Harmon and Chad Michael Murray. They are joined by Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, and Vanessa Bayer.
The film is produced by Kristin Burr, Andrew Gunn, and Jamie Lee Curtis. Lindsay Lohan, Nathan Kelly, and Ann Marie Sanderlin serve as executive producers.
Freakier Friday arrives in theaters on August 8, 2025.
