Gretchen Mol has joined the cast of Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ series, Tulsa King, as a series regular for its upcoming second season. Mol will star opposite Sylvester Stallone, playing Amanda Clark, a Tulsa politician. Production on the new season has recently commenced.
The role reunites Mol with executive producer and head writer Terence Winter, who has returned to helm the show’s sophomore season. The two previously collaborated on the acclaimed HBO drama Boardwalk Empire, where Mol was also a series regular.
Tulsa King stars Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mafia capo exiled to Oklahoma after a long prison sentence and tasked with building a new criminal organization. The series is executive produced by Winter, Sheridan, and Stallone, and is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
Mol’s recent credits include the film Millers In Marriage alongside Julianna Margulies and Benjamin Bratt, and Lauren Meyering’s Horsegirls, which premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. On television, she recently starred as the female lead opposite Jon Bernthal in Showtime’s American Gigolo.
