The new action thriller from writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another, is now available to watch online following its theatrical run. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Bob Ferguson, a jaded former revolutionary living on the run from the U.S. government with his young daughter. More than 16 years later, their hidden life is shattered when a determined military officer, Colonel Steven J. Lockjaw (Sean Penn), discovers their whereabouts and launches a relentless pursuit.
Hailed by film critic Richard Lawson as a “furious film, a richly engaging and persuasive polemic,” the movie also features a strong supporting cast that includes Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, Wood Harris, and Alana Haim. The film has a runtime of two hours and 50 minutes.
Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, One Battle After Another is available for digital purchase ($24.99) or rental ($19.99) in 4K Ultra HD on platforms such as Prime Video and Apple TV. The movie is expected to arrive on HBO Max for subscribers after its theatrical window closes, with an estimated streaming release in late December 2025 or early January 2026.
