Paris Saint-Germain is set to host Auxerre tonight at the Parc des Princes for the sixth matchday of the Ligue 1 season. Facing a significant number of absences, coach Luis Enrique has called upon several promising youth talents, including Wassim Slama, Mathis Jangeal, and Quentin Ndjantou (all born in 2008), as well as Yanis Khafi (born in 2006).
The decision to promote these youngsters comes as PSG contends with an extensive injury list, with key players such as Fabian Ruiz, João Neves, Désiré Doué, Marquinhos, and Ousmane Dembélé all sidelined. Bradley Barcola is the only senior player making his return from injury for the match.
Despite the setbacks, stars like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Illia Zabarniy, and Lucas Chevalier are available for selection. Ukrainian international Illia Zabarniy is expected to replace the injured Marquinhos in central defense alongside Pacho. Achraf Hakimi is set to start in his usual position on the right flank, while Kvaratskhelia will operate on one of the wings.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 9:05 PM at the Parc des Princes.
