Co-written by Bernthal and Reinaldo Marcus Green, the story will reportedly take place after the events of Daredevil: Born Again, where the character is set to reappear.
The suit’s debut has fueled speculation among fans that this could be Frank Castle’s look for a potential appearance in Spider-Man 4. “This Punisher suit going against the new Spider-Man suit is going to be peak comic book movie,” commented one fan on social media, with another calling it the character’s best on-screen costume yet.
