William Saliba returns to Arsenal’s starting lineup for their Premier League trip to Burnley, as manager Mikel Arteta makes ten changes from the team that defeated Brighton in the Carabao Cup.
The defender was withdrawn at halftime during the victory over Crystal Palace last weekend and subsequently sat out the midweek cup tie against the Seagulls.
In another notable inclusion, Leandro Trossard makes his 100th Premier League appearance for the club since his move from Brighton in January 2023. He joins Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyokeres in attack.
David Raya is in goal, protected by a back four of Riccardo Calafiori, Jurrien Timber, Gabriel Magalhaes, and the returning Saliba. The midfield trio of Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi, and Eberechi Eze starts together for the third consecutive league match.
Hosts Burnley have named an unchanged side following their 3-2 victory over Wolves at Molineux. Martin Dubravka starts in goal behind a defence of Kyle Walker, Axel Tuanzebe, Maxime Esteve, Josh Laurent, and Quilindschy Hartman. Captain Josh Cullen is joined in midfield by Florentino and Lesley Ugochukwu, while Jaidon Anthony partners with Zian Flemming, who scored a brace in last weekend’s win.
