Acknowledging his need for practical experience, the fighter has been gaining valuable repetitions in training with partners like Viacheslav Borshchev and middleweight contender Anthony Hernandez.
His focus remains squarely on executing his own strategy rather than dwelling on his opponent’s. While Loder’s game plan is rooted in his wrestling background, he aims to showcase the significant striking improvements he developed during his recent camp.
Those skills will be tested against his opponent, Ismail Naurdiev, who holds a 1-1 record in the promotion. Naurdiev secured a decision victory over Bruno Silva at UFC 308 before suffering a decision loss to JunYong Park in June.
For Loder, the path forward is about accumulating more time in the Octagon and securing his first official UFC win.
“I can’t change anything that happened,” he stated. “It’s a learning experience. It’s about growing from that. Now I get to showcase a different fighter. Each time I come out, I’m a different fighter. I’m just getting better, which is scary for a lot of people. Despite being a little bit older for the game, I’m relatively new and just kind of jumping straight into it. I have amazing people around me that have helped me so much… I’m excited to show it.”
