Jacksonville Jaguars rookie two-way star Travis Hunter will be placed on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury during Thursday’s practice, Head Coach Liam Coen announced. The move sidelines the versatile playmaker for a minimum of four games, making him ineligible to return until at least Week 13.
The injury occurred just after Hunter delivered his best offensive performance as a professional. In the Jaguars’ final game before their bye week, a loss to the Los Angeles Rams in London, he recorded eight receptions for 104 yards and his first career touchdown.
The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner has been a key contributor on both sides of the ball this season. On offense, he has tallied 28 catches for 298 yards and a touchdown, while adding 15 tackles and three passes defended at cornerback.
