Liverpool’s Greek left-back, Kostas Tsimikas, has arrived in Italy to finalize a season-long loan move to Serie A club Roma.
The 29-year-old was pictured traveling to the Italian capital on Friday, where he is scheduled to undergo a medical examination before completing the transfer.
Tsimikas’s departure from Anfield comes after he was deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Arne Slot. His move was prompted by Liverpool’s recent acquisition of Hungarian full-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth, following the 21-year-old’s impressive campaign last season.
Since joining Liverpool from Olympiacos in 2020, Tsimikas has made 115 appearances for the Merseyside club in all competitions.
