WWE has officially welcomed three new athletes to its Performance Center roster: Meghan Walker, Cyrus Habibi-Likio, and Jessica Bogdanov. All three secured full-time contracts after impressive showings at the company’s SummerSlam week tryouts, where WWE had previously announced its intention to sign them.
The new class continues WWE’s strategy of recruiting talent from diverse athletic disciplines. Meghan Walker, a decorated track and field athlete from the University of Nebraska, transitions from the WWE NIL (Next In Line) program to a full-time deal. She is joined by Cyrus Habibi-Likio, a former college football running back for Boise State, and Jessica Bogdanov, a Russian gymnast who won the Freestyle Calisthenics World Championships in 2015.
In other developmental news, recent international signing Aigle Blanc has been given a new on-screen identity. The French wrestler, who has reported to the Performance Center, will compete in NXT under the name Elio Lefleur.
Lefleur is already slated for a significant match as part of WWE’s partnership with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. He is booked under his new name for a triple threat match against Jack Cartwheel and Chris Carter at AAA’s television taping on November 28 in Puebla, Mexico. The winner will earn a future shot at the AAA Cruiserweight Championship.
This appearance highlights the working relationship between the promotions and provides immediate international exposure for the new NXT talent. The wrestler, whose real name is Cyril Coquerelle, competed across Europe and Japan before signing with WWE.
The collaboration will also see current AAA Cruiserweight Champion Laredo Kid defend his title against fellow NXT star Je’Von Evans at the Guerra de Titanes event on December 20.
