The company employs cookies for essential functions, including the operation of its services, user authentication, security, and the prevention of spam and abuse. Yahoo also measures user activity in aggregate—such as the number of visitors, device types, and visit duration—to analyze engagement with its platforms.
Users who select “Accept all” grant expanded permissions to Yahoo and its partners, including 237 entities within the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. This consent allows these companies to store and access information on a user’s device. The data collected includes precise geolocation, IP addresses, and browsing and search activity. This information is used for analytics, personalized advertising and content, performance measurement, audience research, and the development of new services.
For users who prefer not to share their data for these additional purposes, a “Reject all” option is available. A “Manage privacy settings” link provides more granular control over data-sharing preferences.
