As shoppers hunt for deals this Black Friday, Starbucks will be open to offer a mid-shopping break, though hours will vary by location.
While the coffee giant does not have a fixed holiday schedule, many stores will operate on modified hours. For example, some locations in New York City will open as early as 6:30 a.m. and close as late as 11:00 p.m., while others in cities like Chicago and San Antonio will also have adjusted schedules. Customers are advised to confirm the specific operating hours of their nearest cafe by using the Starbucks store locator, checking Google Maps, or contacting the location directly.
In addition to serving its usual menu, Starbucks is launching a new festive beverage exclusively at its cafes inside Target stores. The new Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate is a crème-based Frappuccino blended with mocha sauce, milk, and ice, layered over peppermint-flavored whipped cream and finished with red and green sprinkles.
Alicia Binion from the Starbucks beverage development team said the drink was created to provide “a sweet way to pause during the holiday rush and enjoy a little seasonal cheer” specifically for Target guests.
The Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate will be available at Target’s in-store Starbucks locations throughout the holiday season.
