YouTube TV has expanded its local channel offerings with the addition of several new CW affiliates across the United States. The move enhances the streaming service’s commitment to providing subscribers with access to regional news, sports, and entertainment.
The newly added stations include:
- WVIR-DT3 in Charlottesville, Virginia
- KLCW in Lubbock, Texas
- KTEN-DT2 in Ada, Oklahoma
- KCWT in La Crosse, Wisconsin
- WLFI-DT2 in Lafayette, Indiana
- WJBF-DT3 in Augusta, Georgia
This expansion builds upon YouTube TV’s previous efforts to broaden its local coverage, including a 2023 deal with Nexstar Media Group that added nearly 60 CW stations to the platform. The inclusion of these affiliates provides viewers in their respective markets with The CW’s primetime programming alongside content focused on local news, weather, and community events.
By continually strengthening its selection of regional channels, YouTube TV solidifies its strategy to compete with traditional cable providers. The service offers subscribers over 130 channels, unlimited cloud DVR storage, and multi-device streaming, positioning itself as a comprehensive solution for viewers who want both national and hyper-local content.
