A Initially World War charity department chairman has been sacked above racist and sexist WhatsApp messages sent more than two decades ago, including vile abuse aimed at England footballer Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho.
Jonathan D’Hooghe, chairman of the Western Front Association Lincoln department, designed the messaging team in 2020 which bundled 11 other individuals, nearly all of whom were being customers of the charity.
Just one member of the WhatsApp group, Martin Gibson, reported 54 messages he thought of to be racist, sexist or pornographic concerning April 2020 and July 2021.

An internal complaints panel listened to that a member of the Western Front Association complained about messages sent by the chairman, who was removed as a trustee two months later on, and later had his membership revoked.
