Police spokesman Firdaus Frammars told reporters that the two policemen were killed when the bomb attached to their truck exploded in the central Kabul neighborhood.
He pointed out that two security personnel were wounded in a similar attack with a bomb targeting a second police truck in a neighborhood in western Kabul, pointing to a third explosion in the city, which did not result in any casualties.
It is worth noting that similar acts of violence have occurred in Kabul and several other Afghan states in recent months, including bombings, missile strikes and killings.
