The European-Mediterranean Seismic Center (EMSC) said that a 4.6-magnitude earthquake hit Dagestan last night.
The center added that these earthquakes were monitored, at one o’clock and 5 minutes at night UTC time (at 4:55 am this morning, Moscow time).
The epicenter was located 21 km northwest of Dagestan Lawar and 12 km northwest of Derbent.
The center stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
No information was received about any damage or injuries.
