Four Arab players entered the list of the 100 best players in the world for the “exceptional” year 2020, published by the British newspaper “The Guardian”.
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s top scorer, topped the ranking of the best players at the Arab level, and occupied second place in Africa, and eighth in the world.
Moroccan Hakim Ziyech, a Chelsea player, came second in the Arab world and fourth in Africa and sixty-year-old, followed by his compatriot Ashraf Hakimi, an Inter Milan player, ranked third in the Arab world and sixth in Africa, and ranked 76th in the world.
Meanwhile, the Algerian star, Riyad Mahrez, the Manchester City player, ranked seventh in Africa and ranked 77th at the global level.
Only one player representing an Arab club, Argentine Ever Banega, star of the Saudi youth team, entered the list of the best 100 players in the world 2020, issued by the British newspaper, The Guardian, and ranked 93rd in the ranking of the best players in the world.
