“We found four bodies in the area where the landslide occurred,” police official Knut Hamer said – during a press conference reported by the American “Al Hurra” channel.
“We still hope to find survivors,” said Roy Alkvist, one of the officials in the relief mission, days after the landslide in the ASK area in the northeast of the Norwegian capital, Oslo, which also resulted in the injury of ten people.
Earlier, rescue teams found another body, while eight others were listed as missing after a landslide occurred four days ago in a village near the northeast of the Norwegian capital, Oslo.
And local police said, it may still be possible to find survivors in air pockets formed inside the destroyed buildings, noting that from a medical point of view, a person can survive for several days in the presence of air.
