(Trends Wide) — Just weeks shy of her 100th birthday, Betty White was planning to spend her next birthday watching a movie about her life with friends.
Betty White’s death in December was a huge blow, but we can still celebrate her beautiful life and all the laughs she gave us.

Find a local movie theater showing “Betty White: A Celebration”
Plans for White’s celebration will continue on Monday, according to the producers of “Betty White: A Celebration.”
“Over the many years that we worked with her, we cultivated a great love and admiration for Betty as a person and as an accomplished artist,” the film’s producers Steve Boettcher and Mike Trinklein said in a statement to Trends Wide. “We are grateful for the many decades of delight she brought to the world. Betty always said she was the ‘luckiest woman on two feet’ to have had a career as long as hers. And honestly, we were the luckiest.” for having had her for so long.
The film explores White’s career and follows her daily life, including her work, her friends and her advocacy for animals.

Betty White loved animals and defended their rights.
Visitors are invited to honor White’s legacy by taking the “Betty’s LA Zoo” tour or visiting the White Rose Memorial Garden to leave a card.
The zoo called White in a statement “one of its most ardent supporters and lifelong friends.”
The “Betty’s LA Zoo” tour honors White’s contributions with spots throughout the zoo where visitors can learn about her relationship with certain animals.

The Hallmark Channel will air “Honoring Betty White” on January 17. The programming block is a 40-episode marathon of “The Golden Girls,” followed by the airing of “The Lost Valentine,” starring White.
