The representative of the World Health Organization in the Palestinian Territories, Rick Pepperkorn, said on Tuesday that those on the evacuation list are among about 14,000 people currently waiting in Gaza to be evacuated for medical reasons.
Peppercorn added that just under 5,000 people have been allowed to be evacuated for medical reasons from the Strip since the start of the war.
