71 new deaths recorded in Corona in Moscow

The Corona Operations Center in Moscow announced, on Monday, that the Russian capital recorded 71 new deaths among those infected with the virus during the last day.

The center’s data indicated that the total number of deaths from the Coronavirus in Moscow reached 10,540.

The daily death rate decreased on Monday compared to Sunday, when 75 people died.

Moscow has recorded the largest number of coronavirus infections in Russia, with more than 743,000 cases since the start of the epidemic, and the number of people recovering in the capital has reached more than 572,000 people.

It is noteworthy that the total number of Coronavirus infections throughout Russia amounted to about two million and 878 thousand cases, and the death toll was more than 51 thousand cases as of Monday.

On December 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin directed the start of a mass vaccination campaign against the Corona virus, and Russia recently launched a comprehensive vaccination campaign in the country against the Corona virus with its “Sputnik V” vaccine, which was the first of its kind in the world.
