Fans of the ABC drama 9-1-1 were treated to a rare update on former star Peter Krause, courtesy of his co-star, Kenneth Choi. On July 14, 2025, Choi shared a video on Instagram showing Krause juggling while wearing a 9-1-1 crew jacket, accompanied by the caption, “Peter Krause Sighting … he sends his ❤️.”
The post comes several months after Krause’s character, Captain Bobby Nash, was killed off near the end of the show’s eighth season in April 2025, a development that disappointed many viewers. While his return for season 9 is unlikely outside of potential flashbacks, this brief appearance was warmly received by his former cast and fans.
The surprise video prompted an outpouring of enthusiastic comments online. “We’re all sending our love back! We miss him so much! Thank you for this,” one fan wrote. Another added, “It’s almost embarrassing how many times I’ve watched this and how happy it makes me.”
This is not the first time Choi, who portrays Howard “Chimney” Han, has publicly praised his former colleague. Following Krause’s final episode in April, Choi shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, describing him as “the classiest guy, the most talented of actors, and the loveliest human being.” He concluded the message with, “THANK YOU, PK. Love You Pal.”
