A Palestinian youth was martyred and another was injured at dawn today, Thursday, in confrontations with the Israeli occupation army in the Balata camp, north of West Bank Occupied.
The Palestinian News Agency announced the death of the young man, Izz al-Din Mustafa Hafi (18 years old), and the wounding of another by bullets, during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the Balata camp, east of Nablus.
The agency quoted the director of the Ambulance and Emergency Center at the Red Crescent Society in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, as saying that two young men were injured by live bullets in the head and back, during confrontations with the occupation forces in Balata camp, and the injured were transferred to Rafidiya Hospital. Doctors later announced the death of the young man, barefoot, as a result of his serious injury.
He added that the occupation forces detained all Red Crescent crews at the “Balata – Al-Quds Street” intersection while trying to reach casualties around the camp and took away keys and phones.

Continuous arrests
Local sources indicated that the occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus from the eastern region, raided the Balata camp and the Dahiya neighborhood, and confrontations broke out, and raided the Jaffa Cultural Center amid an intense army deployment in the region.
It also stormed the town of Azzun near Qalqilya, raided a number of homes, arrested more than 30 Palestinians, and confiscated about 15 vehicles.
The series of raids included the city of Tubas and the Al-Arroub camp in the north Hebron The city of Bethlehem, the town of Beit Jallo, and Beit Laqya, southwest Ramallah They raided a number of homes.

For weeks, the Israeli army has been carrying out massive incursions into the West Bank, accompanied by tension, field confrontations, and clashes with Palestinian resistance, whose intensity increased with the continued Israeli raids on Gaza strip.
Since October 7, the number of martyrs in the West Bank has reached 227, in addition to about 2,800 wounded, and 3,000 detainees.
The Israeli army continues a devastating war on Gaza, which has left more than 14,532 Palestinian martyrs, including more than 6,000 children and 4,000 women, as well as more than 35,000 injured.
