While renowned for building the Dallas Cowboys into the world’s most valuable sports franchise, owner Jerry Jones considers his best investment to be the development of a major natural gas province in rural East Texas.
From his helicopter, Jones surveys the area where he has invested more than $1 billion in the natural gas driller Comstock Resources. His bet is that the company can unlock vast new supplies by successfully drilling some of the deepest and hottest wells in the United States.
