MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A heavy presence of Memphis Police and state troopers converged on the Wolfchase Galleria on Monday afternoon, with armed officers in tactical gear seen entering the building.
Around 3 p.m., police confirmed the scene was secure. Authorities described the event as an “isolated incident and not an active shooter” but did not immediately provide further details on what occurred.
Daniel Moore, an employee at the mall, said his manager instructed him to close the store gates after being told that a shooting had occurred and that someone was injured.
