The TCU Horned Frogs (7-4) will host the Cincinnati Bearcats (7-4) on Saturday afternoon, with TCU seeking a winning record in the Big 12 Conference and the Bearcats looking to snap a three-game losing streak.

TCU enters the game following a 17-14 road win against Houston. The Horned Frogs secured the victory when Nate McCashland kicked a go-ahead 29-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Josh Hoover threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns but also had three interceptions. Jeremy Payne led the ground attack with 103 yards on 18 carries, while Eric McAlister and Jordan Dwyer each had a touchdown reception. Jordan Manjack IV was the leading receiver with nine catches for 95 yards.
Meanwhile, Cincinnati’s recent slide continued with a 26-14 home loss to No. 11 BYU, which eliminated the Bearcats from Big 12 championship contention. Quarterback Brendan Sorsby completed 25 of 38 passes for 300 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, and also led the team with 38 rushing yards. Cyrus Allen and Jeff Caldwell caught scoring passes, but the defense struggled against BYU’s rushing attack, giving up 265 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
This matchup will be just the second time the Bearcats have visited TCU. The all-time series is tied 2-2, with the Horned Frogs winning the most recent contest 14-10 last season in Cincinnati, which was the teams’ first meeting since 2004.
