OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has launched a “code red” initiative to significantly improve the quality of ChatGPT, delaying other product developments in the process.
According to an internal memo viewed by The Wall Street Journal, Altman informed employees on Monday that the company must enhance the chatbot’s day-to-day user experience. The effort will focus on improving personalization features, increasing speed and reliability, and expanding ChatGPT’s capacity to address a broader range of questions.
