The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has announced its return for June 11-14, 2026, at its iconic venue, “The Farm,” in Manchester, Tennessee. The announcement comes after the abrupt mid-festival cancellation of the 2025 event due to severe weather and reveals significant operational changes and grounds improvements.
Headlining the 2026 festival are Skrillex, The Strokes, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Noah Kahan. The full lineup, revealed after a teaser billboard appeared in Nashville, also features a diverse array of artists including GRiZ, Turnstile, Teddy Swims, Yungblud, and The Neighbourhood.
Special performances will be a key feature of the event. Kesha is set to curate the festival’s renowned Superjam, titled “KESHA PRESENTS: SUPERJÂM ESOTERÍCA: THE ALCHEMY OF POP,” while “Weird Al” Yankovic will present a special late-night performance, “Bigger & Weirder Saturday Late Night Roovue.”
Folk-rock group Mt. Joy, originally scheduled to play the 2025 event, was the first act officially confirmed for the 2026 lineup. The announcement also confirmed months of fan speculation fueled by the festival’s “Roo Clues” social media campaign, which had hinted at performers like Role Model and Amyl & The Sniffers.
In response to the flooding that forced the 2025 cancellation, organizers are implementing major changes to the festival grounds. These include seeding 135 acres with Bermuda grass, improving stormwater management systems, and significantly expanding the road network.
These infrastructure upgrades will be paired with operational adjustments. To mitigate risks, camping will no longer be permitted in flood-prone areas, resulting in a reduced overall capacity. The festival’s schedule has also been revised: camping entry will now begin on Wednesday, and main stage programming will run from Friday to Sunday. Thursday, previously a full festival day, will be repurposed as a welcome party featuring a headline performance.
Bonnaroo 2025 was halted on its second day, June 13, after torrential rain and lightning hit the Manchester area. With forecasts predicting continued severe weather, organizers canceled the remainder of the event for safety, evacuating approximately 80,000 attendees.
