The heartbroken woman who gave birth to her first child just two weeks after losing her beloved husband has welcomed a second baby with her new partner.
Emily Hall, 33, from Brisbane, was left shattered when her pilot husband Matthew Hall died from heatstroke in 2017.
She welcomed their son Harrison into the world as a widow, hoping her beloved soul mate would live through their little boy.
Three years later Ms Hall has given birth to another son with her new partner David Downey.
‘Welcome to the world our sweet boy Oliver Mosman Downey. We’re so in love,’ the excited mother wrote on Thursday.
Oliver weighed just under 3kg and is 49cm long.
Mr Hall was dirt bike riding in the Beerburrum State Forest on the Sunshine Coast when he became feeling unwell on January 13, 2017.

The father-to-be collapsed after succumbing to warm 30C temperatures.
By the time paramedics reached him the Virgin pilot was found in a confused state and his organs were shutting down.
His condition deteriorated as the rescue helicopter arrived and he faded in and out of consciousness.
At the time of his death Mr Hall’s body temperature was 42 degrees. Critical heatstroke begins at 41 degrees.
‘He was my best friend and my soul mate,’ Ms Hall said in 2017.
‘I can’t fathom life without him but my strength is knowing he will live through his son.
‘I will love him enough for the two of us and I will make sure I do Matt proud and be the best mum to him.’
Ms Hall’s new partner Mr Downey has cemented a beautiful relationship with her son Harrison and was very excited to add to their brood.
‘I had pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I will just have to be the best “dad” I could be to Harry. Now I also get to become a “father”, someone to share my own DNA. I really have the best of both world’s,’ he wrote on Instagram in June.
‘I love Harry like he is my own flesh and blood and now we get to give him a new best buddy and add to another chapter to our awesome story. To see his excitement is overwhelming.’
